Adelante Class de Arte

Last night, several children gathered in the parish hall for art class with volunteers from Adelante. The Adelante leaders and the children asked me to say to all of you, “Gracias por su hospitalidad!

Stewardship 2026

This Sunday, September 7, we will begin our Stewardship conversations at the parish luncheon. In my sermon last week, I mentioned several questions for you to pray and live over the weeks ahead. We will discuss the questions over lunch.

• How has God blessed this parish in the past?
• How does God continue to bless us today?
• What causes us to overlook or ignore ’s blessings?
• What can we do, as a parish, to stay focused on the living water that flows from our baptismal promises?

We will collect and bless our pledge cards on Sunday, September 21.

Tutoring

Tutoring has started! We have eleven children registered, and we could certainly use more grown-ups to help teach them! This year, we are focusing on improving reading and math fact fluency. Also, I am hoping to find time for the children to have conversations with English speakers to give them broader vocabulary experiences. If you have some time to just come and talk to the children — in complete sentences — please let me know.
